Experience timeless charm at Remparts House

The recently renovated 12th Century house comprises of 4 bedrooms, a kitchen where you will be served your delicious breakfast cooked by Chef Jack, 2 cosy living rooms for relaxing and socialising and a small private gym.

Outside we have two roof terraces for relaxing in the sunshine or taking in the fresh air and enjoying the scenery.

Our Bedrooms

Each room features plush bedding, luxurious en-suite bathrooms, and thoughtful amenities designed for your utmost comfort.

Kings Room

Situated on the first floor of Remparts House this spacious room has a comfortable space for sitting and relaxing.

With a sculpted double bed and convenient en suite bathroom it offers a tranquil environment perfect for a comfortable nights sleep. The historic features of the 12th century house provide a unique setting for the curious. 

Queens Room

On the ground floor of Remparts House, the Queen’s Room is a spacious room with a large en suite bathroom with a free-standing bath and a shower.

The bedroom has double-aspect windows with views down Rue Des Remparts and up Rue Droit to the ancient arch. There is a sofa 

The Tower

At the top of the building, the Tower offers a comfortable double bedroom with lovely views of Mailhac's rooftops and the hills beyond.

The room comprises the whole top floor of the house, including a terrace and a little sitting room at the top of the stairs. The en suite bathroom has a free-standing bath and a shower. Being on the top floor of the house, it is not suitable for people with 

White Room

A nice light and airy room with a comfortable king-size bed and convenient en suite shower room.

Situated on the first floor it has views down Rue Droit up to the ancient archway.

  • Remparts House can accommodate up to 10 guests, with five double bedrooms each featuring its own en-suite bathroom.

  • Smoking is not allowed inside Remparts House to ensure a comfortable environment for all guests. However, smoking is permitted on the three outdoor terraces where you can enjoy the views of the surrounding vineyards and countryside.

  • Our cancellation policy allows for a full refund if you cancel at least 30 days before your scheduled arrival date. For cancellations made within 30 days of arrival, a partial refund may be available.

  • Yes, free on-street parking is available for guests. You can conveniently park your vehicle close to the house.

  • Due to the historical nature of Remparts House, there are many stairs throughout the property, making it unsuitable for guests who use wheelchairs or have significant mobility issues. While we strive to make our guests as comfortable as possible, we recommend considering this when planning your stay. If you have specific needs, please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate you within our limitations.

  • While Remparts House is primarily designed for adults seeking a relaxing and immersive culinary retreat, we may be able to accommodate families on a case-by-case basis. Due to the historical nature of the house and the presence of stairs, it might not be ideal for very young children or those with mobility issues.
